Budgeting Wedding Invitations |

With wedding invitations we see the maxim clearly that you can't put a price on love, but you can love a good price. If budget is a concern with you and your potential spouse-to-be, turn to the web to find some of the best cards you could imagine, for a fraction of the in-store price. It just doesn't make sense to shop at a local store if the Internet is hooked up in your home. The reason is that cards are much cheaper online, and you can take full advantage of the global marketplace to get quality from afar. In fact, some wedding invitations are less than $1 a piece! Now that says something about the global economy. Your big day does, however, require a special invitation. Whether your wedding is nautical, tropical, modern, church-based, outdoors, indoors, with suits, in casual clothes or in costumes, the choice is yours to make your invitations reflect the attitude of the event. People need to know what to expect from your invitations, and you might have to put a little more money down if you want your invitations to match the kind and tone of event you're having. The really cheap wedding invitations are the generic ones. There's an argument that says not to put all your money into the lead-up of the wedding, and, in lieu of that, to put money into the wedding itself. That's a good, good idea if trivialities like invitations aren't important to you. Did you know that wedding invitations come in the following shapes, all for about the same price? There are bellybands, deckled edge, eco-friendly, jacket, pocket, large rectangle, large square, layered, long rectangular, parchment, petite rectangular, petite square, photo, photo high-end, ribbons, ribbons high-end, shapes - all, sheer and translucent, and velvet. Wow, wow, wow! That is a lot of shapes. What about themes? There are dozens to start off with, and possibly hundreds more depending on where you look. For a primer, let's look at the following: bride & groom, beach & seashells, Caribbean, destinations, Disney, Fall & Autumn, floral, Hawaii, high-end, hearts, holiday & Christmas, leaves, modern & unique, seasonal, tropical & sea, snowflakes, western, eastern, oriental, southern, Latino, and more, more, more! The emphasis on more cannot be emphasized enough. There are literally hundreds, approaching the small thousands, of themes, and your event, no matter how kooky, is sure to be covered.
