I am incredibly ecstatic that the weather is getting warmer—it is about time! It seems like this winter has been especially atrocious. But it is finally here and we can all enjoy it (except for those few rogue days that decide it wants to rain and ruin our weekend plans). This year, there are a few must haves that should grace every person's life—whether you spend your time inside cooling off or outside enjoying the sunshine.

• Flip Flops: The great thing about these "shoes" is that any age, male or female can wear these bad boys. They are great for getting fun tan lines (Ok. Maybe that is just a weird idiosyncrasy that my family has). They slip on and off easily—making them perfect for picnics, beach trips, and everything else you want to do this summer.

• Sun Dresses: Summer just isn't fashionable without a few light-weight summer dresses. Not only will it keep your temperature cool, but you will look and feel great. There are so many different styles of dresses that are in the stores, it should be fun to choose the best one for your body type and your comfort level.

• Protective Hat: The type of hat you get all depends on the sort of activities you are planning for this summer. It can be a ball cap to keep the sun off your face or a mosquito hat for optimum mosquito protection. Either way, protect yourself.

• Summer Jewelry: Add an anklet or toe ring to your favorite summer outfit. It will really spice up your outfit and give it a little extra personality.

• Sunscreen: Of course! We can't forget that. Protect your beautiful skin from the harmful rays of the sun. Your skin will remain vibrant and unforgettable.

Enjoy this summer because winter will soon come creeping around the corner waiting to ruin everything (at least, that is how I see it).
