When organising your outfit for any formal or informal occasion the choice of dress is usually at the forefront of your mind. Then you have to decide on the type of underwear, accessories and handbag you will use. But a lot of ladies do not put enough thought into the choice of shoes, without which they would not be able to go anywhere. When attending a prom it is of vital importance that your choice of prom shoes compliments the rest of your chosen outfit. If you are wearing a prom dress which is long in length, then perhaps a pair of high heels would suffice especially for those lacking in height as the dress will cover them up. But remember long dresses will make your shoes less visible and you may want people to notice them. Prom dresses shorter in length could perhaps best be paired with a set of flat shoes as heels could make your legs look bigger than they actually are. If you have chosen an eye catching dress containing lots of details then it could look a little over the top to also wear some dazzling shoes, so look towards classic black and silver colours. If however your outfit purely consists of one colour, then you could think about pairing it with a more striking set of shoes. One of the common things forgotten by girls after purchasing new prom shoes to match their special occasion wear is to break them in. Turning up at the prom only to discover two minutes into dancing that they are excruciatingly painful on the feet could completely ruin your night before it has even started. Walk around the house in the shoes for decent period of time so that your feet can get used to them, comfort is of the essence. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
