Do you associate orange only with Halloween? Then you're missing out
how this hot color is hitting town all-year-round! If you're looking
for that special color to outshine everyone on your prom night, you
should be thinking about orange prom dresses.
That's right ' a hot color that's unusual, comes in so many different
hues to complement every skin color, and can be matched with lots of
bejeweled accessories! Orange is the hot new color ' I've seen celebrities such as Blake Lively and Maggie Gyllenhaal step out in gorgeous long orange dresses on the red carpet. They were such a standout amongst the usual black and white classic gowns. Check out the shimmery orange gowns from Alyce Designs ' they'll make you look the modern princess. If you want a more form-fitting long dress, Gigi has some tight styles that will accentuate your curves. But are you thinking about going the extra step and adding some sexy flair to your already awesome color choice? Then look at the shorter styles that these colors come in. Orange is an especially good color to show off that deep tan you've been working on all spring, so why not flaunt your limbs in a skirt that cuts off at mid-thigh? Faviana Couture has some excellent styles with skirts that flair out right above the knee for a cuter, baby-doll look. Or you can pull off sexiness with a halter top that will expose your shoulders and make people's eyes focus on your confident poise. Interlude has some awesome orange halter dresses with cut-outs on the bodice that will definitely make you the talk of the night. If the color and the shape of the top won't expose enough of your personality and you're looking for orange prom dresses that are more unique and expressive, why not consider something with a print? Prints can come in all types of patterns from intricate floral prints to funky geometric shapes. They can also be placed on the top to focus everyone's attention to your upper body, or be placed at the hem of the skirt so that it adds some elegant extravagance to your already outstanding gown. Take a look at Dave and Johnny's floral prints that emphasize the feminine goddess in you! I would also definitely check out the diagonal prints on Faviana Couture's dresses ' it will generate some good gossip about your dress. So if you thought orange was just a color for Halloween or one season, now you know different! There are cream-colored oranges for paler skins and deeper or shinier oranges that can show off a darker tan that you've been dying to unveil! One word of caution, though: you should probably think twice before pairing your orange prom dress with black shoes because that might be too holiday-ish, if you know what I mean. There are gorgeous shoes that come in all sorts of orange hues, so get that orange prom dress and take it to your shoe store to get some matching heels or pumps to finish your outstanding outfit!
