When it comes to make-up, following the latest trends can lead to disaster if you go for the 'catwalk look'. Make up created for the catwalk should stay there, along with most of the styles used to inspire the ready-to-wear lines found in stores. However, some notable make-up trends seen at fashion shows featuring winter clothing lines can easily be adapted for less glamorous lives off the catwalk. The first of the trends was probably inspired by new artist Amy Winehouse, featuring dark bold eyeliner and mascara and a clear complexion.
