Marketing tools such as your brochure printing or print brochures
are geared towards making your target clients aware of you, your
products and services. Writing quarterly or monthly collateral then is
one of the most important activities you have for your business. When
marketing yourself, be sure to have these useful tips in mind: 1- Tell them again about who you are and what you do. This is especially helpful if you're engaged in the service-oriented kind of business where there's not much to set you apart from other businesses. Your target market may not be thinking as much about you; not more than the problem that you can help them with. That's why they need to be consistently reminded why they have to choose you, as well as to constantly reassure them of your worth. Your collaterals then can help you to do this. You can remind them of your benefits and keep them abreast of new developments as well. Promote your new offers and equipment. Your collaterals are the perfect vehicles to convey to your clients and prospects about you, minus the hard selling part. 2- Don't be dull and unexciting. Marketing is constantly having to pique the interest and attract the attention of your target clients. If you want to get your message read, you need to be entertaining. You need to realize right away that you and your target clients are totally different beings. How you think about your business is not the same way that your target clients regard it. For them, you're just one provider who can give them a solution to their needs. Except when they need you, they'll soon forget about you when you've satisfied their requirement. So if you just provide them with information about yourself in your brochure printing for example, they would just throw you in the garbage as quickly as they read over your headlines. 3- It's all about your target clients. Nothing personal, but your marketing collaterals such as your print brochures is not about you. You're not the one who's going to buy your products and services anyway. It's your target clients. So don't talk about yourself. Don't tell them who got the new promotion or who got the new car as an incentive. People don't go for that. Rather, they go for the benefits. If you want to have your target audience looking forward to reading your collaterals, be sure to fill your marketing copy with the benefits to buying your products and services. 4- Make your collaterals light and quick-read. The bottom line to every copy writing is to make it easier for your target audience to read and understand your message. What's the point of having great benefits if your target readers can't read your hieroglyphics? If they don't get it in less than 10 minutes then you've just lost the opportunity to make that precious sale.
