If your print posters are not contributing at all in attracting new
clients to your business, read on and learn some new and innovative. 1. The biggest mistake most print poster designers have is to have ‘un-measurable' key result indicators. Most of us have this wrong impression that because we have eye-catching print posters, potential clients will excitedly chase us and go on a spending spree. Unfortunately, that only exists in the mind. It is highly unlikely that customers who see your print posters will react this way. This is just not a realistic expectation. Do a reality check so you can get over this fantasy. It will keep you grounded. We must come the understanding that that the primary objective of your poster printing is to move potential clients one step closer to collaborating with us. Have patience with the process and you'll be much more successful. 2. Before anyone will buy from you, more than anything, they must believe the product or service. It must be seen as worth every penny and it should also have impeccable delivery. This means that you keep your promises and only promise what you know you can deliver. If ever there is a variance between your actual delivery and what your print poster says, you must do something about this. Otherwise, both your products and your marketing scheme will fail. This is one sure way to develop distrust in your clients. 3. Try to address the problem and the solution you provide very clearly in your poster printing. There should be no room for confusion and they should not have any question about what your product or services promise to deliver. When they are finished reading your poster printing, your potential clients should do two things: nod in agreement and make the purchase. If your potential clients do not do any one of these two desired actions then your print posters have failed. Worse, you've lost your chance. If first impressions last, then you just lost a client forever. 4. Print about what they want and not about what you want. They will not be attracted to your prints about yourself or your company or how successful it has been. They will be more interested if your custom posters take the viewpoint of the clients. They must be able to empathize with how they feel - talk to them about their problems. Know what they want and capture it in your poster printing. In summary, realize that the purpose of your posters: A. Make your potential clients understand. B. Entice them to make action.
