The Cost Isn't as Important as the Results |

I know it isn't easy at all, and I sympathize completely, but stop worrying so much about the cost of your advertising. The cost isn't what's important. Don't focus on what you're paying for something like flyer printing, and instead worry about what kind of results you're getting. The best marketing is the kind that more than pays for itself. If you aren't making back your budget than something is obviously wrong, and it doesn't have to do with the cost of the advertising. Too many companies have a bad habit of becoming obsessed with the cost of their marking, and focus less on the results that same marketing gets. The reason is because the costs come first. You simply have to pay for your marketing before you get any sales to help recoup the costs. The same fear starts to come over people: maybe I won't make that money back. Suddenly the idea is to cut back on the spending as much as possible. Let's go for cheap marketing rather than the expensive stuff. Why take a chance that we'll end up spending too much money? But does the cheaper marketing work? Sometimes it will. Don't knock advertising flyer printing until you've tried it. This doesn't cost nearly as much as some other types of marketing, and for some companies this is clearly the way to go. What if you need brochures instead to really appeal to your market? What if you need something far pricier and you aren't willing to foot the bill out of fear that you won't make the cash back. You'll end up saving money on the costs but losing money on the sales. The good marketing is the kind that easily makes back its budget and then some. It doesn't matter how big that budget is, if your marketing is good, you'll make your money back. That's why fretting over the costs is often counter productive. If you cut corners you'll end up with marketing that doesn't work as well, and so you'll ensure you won't make as much money because of it. Marketing is the driving force for a company, and one of the best ways of getting your sales going, your brand name strong, and your customer base loyal. This is the life blood of what makes your company keep going. Do you really think it's good to go out of your way to save money on something that is this important? This reflects a company who isn't nearly as concerned with their long term goals as they should be, and will probably sabotage themselves by trying too hard to never spend very much. The choice is obviously yours as to what kind of marketing you do. Just be sure you don't end up harming future business by trying to save money in the moment.
