In the previous article, I've talked about the first list of
essentials that as a marketer and business owner, you need to know in
order for you to have a successful business card printing
campaign. So here are some more basic elements you need to consider so
you can make your marketing tool work hard to achieve your goal of
success.
Crosscheck with the proper organizations for your logo. Although you can add your logo to your business card printing,
some organizations and market groups have certain regulations with the
use of logos. Most vendors and banks for example have their own set of
rules when it comes to the use of logos in business cards. You might
want to check them out first before you continue with designing your
business cards.
Consider including information that lets your recipients know you can
speak other languages. This is one way of reaching out to your target
customers who are non-English speakers. By including information or a
line even at the backside of your cards to let them know that you can
speak their language, can go a long way in getting you more potential
clients for your business.
Print on paper you can write on. Always remember that recipients of
your cards will generally take down notes about you when they get your
cards. So make sure that they'll be able to do so with your business
cards. Although plastic and other stock materials can make your
business cards look unique, it also takes away the chance for your
potential clients to note down some of the most important details they
need to better remember you.
Give as many business cards as you receive them. Distribute as many
business cards as you can. Your business cards are not meant to be
stashed and stored. They are meant to be given away. So make sure that
you hand out as much as you can.
Always have them handy. One of the fatal errors of any business owner
and marketer - forgetting to bring their business cards with them. This
is a big no-no especially when you're engaging in business. If you want
people to get to know you, you have to give them your business card. A
reputable business is believed to have a business card. Without one,
you are considered as a fly-by-night company and wouldn't be taken
seriously by your potential clients.
If you want to be known and remembered, your business card is the best
way to do it. So make sure you always have your cards with you. The
real importance of marketing with business cards is that you always
have them handy because every place and person you meet is an
opportunity to market your business.
