Planning Ahead

Too often companies only look at things one marketing campaign at a time. Whatever they're currently focused on will be the only thing they worry about. Even if they know they're going to have a fall themed marketing push, they usually don't bother to start planning it until a few months before they need to.

This leads to having several ads designed and printed up throughout the year. The issue here is the costs you'll rack up with your printing when you could've cut down on them considerably if you'd planned ahead.

Most companies are going to be aware of the different types of marketing pushes they'll have throughout the year. Holidays, sporting events, and all sorts of other themed marketing campaigns are the same every single year. While certain details will change, the majority of them are considerably consistent.

This provides you with the ability to plan ahead, and even design and practically implement ahead. If your list of products doesn't change a lot, or if you're a service based job that offers the same services all the time, you even know a year ahead what you're going to be promoting.

Planning this far ahead becomes very important when you start to consider the costs associated with printing. The biggest cost of printing will always deal with the initial start up and not the number of copies printed.

Wholesale printing gives companies a chance to get very large orders taken care of all at the same time for a very cheap cost. Upping the number needed doesn't have any particularly big impact on the costs.

Another great thing about wholesale printing is the fact that printing multiple advertisements at the same time doesn't alter the costs much either. And here is where planning ahead really starts to shine through.

You can have several different advertisements all designed and printed at the exact same time months in advance. You'll end up with a greatly reduced cost for printing than you would have if you had gotten each job done separately. Not only that but you benefit from having your marketing material all set and ready for you to use whenever you need it.

Your concern here should be to get as much material printed as possible. You don't want to underestimate how much you need and end up greatly increasing your costs for printing because you don't have as much as you ended up needed. Assume you need more than you're expecting to and get a few extra copies made.

So long as you plan well enough to know exactly how many copies you're going to need, planning ahead and getting your printing taken care of in bulk is a great way to save on costs. As the saying goes: why put off until tomorrow what you could be getting done today.

Start planning your marketing today, and save money because of it tomorrow.
