Newsletter printing is pretty easy. If you are a beginner, you have to know that there are only six simple steps in newsletter printing that will take you from design to printing. Of course, more advanced newsletter makers will have added more, but those six steps are the basic ones that everyone should know. So for you beginners out there, below are the six steps in simple newsletter printing. 1. Collect all the needed materials - The first step is to just collect all the needed materials. Have your writers write their articles, your photographers get their images, and your layout artist gather the templates, logos, fonts and other design elements needed for the newsletter. Of course you will need a desktop publishing application where you can apply these all too. Have all your materials digitized for easier processing. 2. Using a template to layout - Now with all the materials gathered, you can now slowly piece together your color newsletter. Start with your newsletter template. Add your newsletter name and logo at the top of course and then start the layout of the main page. Depending on your template, the locations for the newsletter name as well as the headline and main image should already be marked. Just follow the guidelines and improvise when necessary. When in doubt, just compare your layout with common newspapers. Do this page by page, section by section until you are out of material. 3. Quality Assurance - Once the draft is done, you have to check all the things you put in. A quality assurance step should be done, with you proof reading all the content and images. Have two or three other people proof read as well in succession. Make your corrections and additions and then redraft the first draft. 4. Hiring a newsletter printer - When your main draft is done, you should then hire a newsletter printer. Make sure that you choose one that is in your price range. Online printers are convenient, but local printers can sometimes be better trusted. If you are starved for time, an online newsletter printing service should be the best choice, but if you have time, you should hire a local service so that you can monitor its progress as the printing starts. 5. Specifying your newsletter preferences - Before you handover your money to the printer though, make sure you specify your printing preferences. Tell the printer your preferred paper for printing, the ink type, the dimensions and the folds that you want for the newsletter. Specify this all in one go so that there is no confusion once printing starts. 6. Printing your newsletters - Afterwards, just review your newsletter draft one final time then pass on your layout for printing. Make sure you deliver the high resolution layout of your draft so that the newsletter does not pixelate. That's it! In six easy steps, you should have finished your newsletter printing. Easy right? You can now try it out yourself! For comments and inquiries about the article visit Newsletter Printing Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
