You place an ad on television. How long after a person sees the ad before they actually decide to come in and buy anything? You send an advertisement through the mail. How many days, weeks, months may go by before they end up walking into your store? Are these ineffective forms of marketing? Not at all, however, they're based off of the premise of encouraging someone to keep your business in mind the next time they need to buy something. It may be weeks before you benefit from these forms of advertisements being there. These forms of marketing are best at grabbing the attention of people who are going to go shopping, but what about the people who are shopping at this very moment? This is where printing full color and custom posters can act as a wonderful form of immediate marketing no other strategy can accomplish. How often have you walked down a strip of stores and happened to see one you hadn't been expecting to shop in? How many times have you been driving along and caught sight of that sign showcasing a kind of product you never had on your mind? People don't always know exactly what they want until they see it. Window-shopping is popular for a reason because of the spontaneity it entails. When these people are passing by your store, what are you going to be doing to help encourage them to step on in? People are inclined to be aware of full color posters and signs. Just because they're everywhere, one shouldn't assume they aren't still doing their job. Printing a custom poster can be a statement about your company. The color scheme you use, the type of font, the placement of the words, can all be a short introduction into your company. Those people walking down the sidewalk are going to be more willing to try something new, and your poster should encourage them to come in and see what you're all about. There's no other form of marketing that has such a direct, and immediate result. Poster printing is a way of telling the person at that very moment they should check out what you have and they won't be sorry that they did. That eye catching full color poster with its custom look will do wonders to bring in people who want to find that new, surprisingly good store. Don't just focus on marketing that targets future customers. Pay attention to the people at this very moment walking along outside your store, and start using a strategy that piques their interest, and pulls them in.
