Deploying cheap catalogs is not like giving away your high quality catalog printing.
You have more leeway in distributing cheap catalogs since they can act
as part flier and part brochure at the same time. So there are a lot of
possibilities in deploying them using various means. In my experience
in catalog printing, you have five options in deploying your cheap catalogs effectively. 1. Leave them at your counter The first and most obvious choice is just to leave it at the counter. People are used to the habit of taking free catalogs in the counter of your shop or in lobbies and other public places. Though you can say that this is a pretty passive way to distribute your cheap catalogs, it is the least invasive for most people and of course it is the easiest strategy to adopt. While this should not be the bulk of your catalog deployment strategy it should also still be something to consider since it is very easy to do. 2. Give them away For a more active way in deploying your cheap catalogs you can just adopt the flier method. You can just give them away by hand. You can hire someone to just distribute your cheap catalogs at a busy place where lots of people pass by. It can be the road in front of your shop, or it can be at a central place at the mall. You can even try transport terminals if you want like train station lobbies and bus stops. It can be hard work, but more or less you should get those cheap catalogs distributed by hand to people. 3. Include them with your carry bags Another alternative strategy to deploy your cheap catalogs is to include them with your product or carry bags. As people purchase stop from your shop, you can slid your catalogs along with the product in their paper or plastic carrying bag. In this way you get to promote your other products to your customers so that they have a reason to go back to your shops. 4. Distribute them to mailboxes Now, to distribute your catalogs to houses directly, you can try distributing them in mailboxes. You do not have to pay postage though. For a cheaper way, you can just hand deliver your catalogs to people's mailboxes by hand. Of course this may require some work, but if you are in an urban area it is easy as you go from building to building. You just need a little determination to do it. 5. Leave them in car windshields Finally, like fliers, you can also slid your catalogs into people's car windshields. Doing this always assures that your catalogs will be read. Nobody drives with a paper slid in their windshield. Those are your five options for deployment. There may be other methods out there, but these are the ones that are pretty easy to do and conventional. You will have a great chance in reaching out with your cheap catalogs with this.
