Sometimes it can seem like all of the really well known and great forms of advertising are the kinds that require you to have a massive budget or else you won't be able to accomplish anything. After all, we're surrounded by marketing ventures like that all the time. Turn on the television and you'll see those high priced commercials, and if you open up a magazine you'll see expensive ad layouts all over the place. While these might be the most noticeable they are far from the only kind of marketing you can go for, and there are plenty of far cheaper strategies in order to make your color printing go as far as possible. Flyers are and probably always will be one of the standard forms of inexpensive marketing. The great thing about flyers is the wide variety of methods that you can use to advertise your business with them. You can hand them out on the streets like most people do, or you can go door to door slipping them under doors and into mailboxes. With the latter option you have a cheaper form of direct mail marketing by getting your message directly to your customers, except you don't have to worry about paying for postage. Of course, if you do have the money for direct marketing, postcard printing might be a good form of color printing for you as well. Postcards are a very cost effective style of marketing that allows you to get people a simple, straightforward message, and when combined with direct mailing you can once again hand your advertisements directly to people to get the most exposure for your message. There are other methods to consider as well. Don't overlook getting an ad in the yellow pages, or putting an ad in the newspaper. Both are going to be a lot cheaper than trying to put an ad in a magazine and in the instance of the yellow pages, it remains a place people specifically go to find a business. If you have business cards, which any small business is going to be sure to have, use them as a continuous form of marketing. Every time you see someone who might have interest be sure that you have plenty of cards on you at all times to hand out to them. The same is true for letterheads and other distinguishing company logos to put on all outgoing mail. You are able to turn everyday forms of business into an opportunity to develop your brand name. You don't always need a massive budget for some of the smaller forms of marketing, and if you are constantly working with the smaller styles of color printing you're going to be able to develop a strong, grass roots marketing.
