The most common color brochures you see today are the white brochure designs as well as the ones with a full color background. What if I told you however that there are more ways to use color in brochure printing that those two main options? Yes! There are still other great techniques in brochure printing that changes the nature of the color in your brochure. I'll give you four simple examples of such techniques. Minimalist block colors - In some corporate circles simple is better. In fact, the buzzword for it is "minimalist". There are a few simple yet beautiful color brochures out there that use minimalist block colors in layouts. This basically involves using one eye-catching and heavy color which basically looks clean. The pure "blank" spaces with color provide that clean and well kept layout atmosphere while simultaneously giving a contrasting background for the text. For example, you can use a pure black brochure with light silver ink prints for great effect. Other examples include, bright yellow brochures with orange text, or a deep sea blue brochure with light blue text. Artistic brush strokes - Brush strokes are also getting more popular these days for color brochures. This design basically involves large color brush stroke styles used as the background of the brochure. Coupled with a textured canvass effect, this turns the brochure into a painting or a parchment in a sense. It gives the brochure that classic artistic look, perfect for very creative themes and promotions. Glitters and grime - On the more creative side of coloring, there is also the glitter and grime style that might be good to use for your color brochures. This basically involves adding glitter, and the occasional dark spec or splotch which should give a brochure design lots of texture. This can give the color brochure design a magical or worn out effect that is perfect for the more modern style and taste of promotions today. Metallic style inks - Also, in terms of inks, there are certain metallic inks that are really quite good at impressing people with text. These gold or silver inks usually provide that sheen effect much like plated metal. Brochures that use this kind of coloring scheme will usually look like luxury brochures, just like the exquisite letters and advertisements for kings and queens. So if you are bored with the traditional kinds of colors and color styles of brochure printing, you may want to try the suggestions above for a quite new experience with your color brochures. Just let loose your creativity and see what happens. For comments and inquiries about the article visit Brochure Printing and Color Brochures Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
