Building Loyalty

How often do you really put a lot of thought into the places that you go to shop? Are they based on something you particularly like about that one store, or does it have to do with convenience? Maybe the store happens to be right down the street from you, or maybe they're the only place you know of that sells a certain item that you enjoy.

But what if another store opens up that's just a little closer and easier to get to? What if you find out about someplace else that might have slightly better prices, or just a little bigger of a selection? How fast would you abandon the place you've been shopping at?

In essence, how loyal are you really to the places that you go shopping at? The truth is most people aren't that loyal at all. It doesn't have to do with a conscience decision not to be loyal; they're just given no reason to be loyal. Too often companies don't give them any reason to. A company remains closed off from their customers and makes no efforts to change that.

When it comes to friends how close are you to the people you barely know? I'd guess that these aren't the kinds of friends you would go out of your way for, because you just don't know them very well. The better you know somebody the better the chances are of you being better friends with them.

The same is true for a company. The more you know about a company the more likely it is that you'll remain loyal to you. If they open up to you it's a lot easier for people to open up to them.

And this is where newsletter printing comes into the picture. You need to open up to people. You need to let them know what your company is all about. Tell them about the people working for you, the things you're doing. Tell them about your day and ask them about theirs.

Open up that line of communication with them. Write articles about everything your company is up to and have them send in letters explaining what they're doing and what they think about your company. These are all relatively easy things to do and can have a very big impact on the way people view you.

Look into newsletter printing for your company. I can't stress enough the way this can help you form a much better connection with your customers. Loyal customers are going to be the lifeblood of any business. If you're never trying to connect with them then you're never going to be able to establish a truly strong customer base.

Just ask yourself which companies you feel closest to, and ask yourself why you feel that way.
