Cape Town tours are an essential way for you to get familiar with one of the most beautiful town in the world. A tour of Cape Town will greatly assist you in putting the various places, services and amenities in perspective, as well as inform you of special attractions of which you may not be familiar. When thinking about a vacation to somewhere you have never visited, have you ever considered the splendors of a South Africa tour? There is so much to see and do in South Africa and it is just waiting to be discovered by you and your party. Consider a trip to this part of the world and be amazed by all of the different sights that you have only seen in books or on TV.

Cape Town is undeniably one of the most exciting cities in South Africa. Located geographically at the southernmost tip of Africa, the city assures you of everything from beautiful coasts to breathtaking mountaintop views. Cape Town Attractions are like nothing else in the world. And of course, what is Cape Town without the beach? Surprisingly, Cape Town's beaches are considered some of the world's best. To name a few, there is Clifton Beach, which consists of four coves, and this actually makes it an advantage because it shelters the beach from high winds.

Cape Town safari tours are a growing business, if the increasing number of private game reserves and operators within easy reach of the Mother City is anything to go by. Addo Elephant Park is the closest national park to Cape Town and unfortunately it is not very close at all. It is approximately 800km east, which translates to at least nine hours driving time.

Staying in luxury accommodation in Cape Town's centre is an ideal base for exploring all the nearby tourist attractions. The city centre itself is a hive of activity, where you can buy hand-crafted African curios from street vendors, designer handbags from international shops, and antique jewellery from trendy second-hand stores. On the other side of town, offering a more mainstream and conservative day out, is the V&A Waterfront, hosting a range of designer shops and waterside seafood restaurants. A tailor-made holiday in Cape Town will allow you to explore both aspects of the city, so you can make the most of your Cape Town holiday.

A Cape Town holiday will ultimately always incorporate at least a few days spent basking in the sun on a beach, or taking a stroll through the forest. Just a short drive from the city centre, are the beautiful beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay. With rollerbladers skating down the promenade and a range of cocktail bars overlooking the beach, this is one of Cape Town's trendiest areas. Many of Cape Town's hotels are situated on the mountain slopes above the sea, where you can walk down to the beaches in just a few minutes.
