Visit the Vatican with an Official Guide |

Anyone can visit the Vatican, however, once you enter the ancient complex built and even furnished over 600 hundred years ago with around 2,000 room, you will more than likely stand in awe while wondering which way to go. Now, you wish you had a guide along to help you distinguish the various masterpieces from the Roman, Etruscan, and Egyptian antiquities as well as many of the famous artists. An official guide will not only be able to help you find your way through the vast masterpieces but will also be able to give you information regarding all the aspects of not only the masterpieces but the architectural of the museums as well. The Vatican Museums is divided into sections, which include the Gregorian Etruscan Museum, the Pinacoteca, the Missionary-Ethnological Museum, the Ancient Papal Apartments painted by Raphael, and the Sistine Chapel. If you are strolling through all these sections alone, you will marvel at the masterpieces however, if you have your own personal official guide, you will be directed to many treasures. Within the Gregorian Etruscan Museum you will enjoy seeing archeological finds from the 9th and 1st century BC along with wonderful donations of Benedetto Guglielmi and Mario Astarita, as well as many historical artifacts such as ceramics, silver, bronze, and gold from the Etruscan cities. Within the Pinacoteca, you will embrace some of the greatest artists of the history of Italian painting including Giotto, Beato Angelico, Melozzo da Forlė, Perugino, Raphael, Leonardo, Tiziano, Veronese, Caravaggio, and Crespi. The Museum of old cars and horse carriage of the Popes . The Ancient Papal Apartments painted by Raphael is an exquisite area of the museums in which Pope Julius II lived and worked during his time at the Vatican. Raphael was given was the task to paint the rooms which at the time where known as the Stanze. The Stanza della Segnatura was painted in 1508 and the Stanza d'Eliodoro was painted between 1512 and 1514 gives the message of global culture which is still up to date. The Sistine Chapel is of course one of the most spectacular architectural sights to see in Rome. The fame of this chapel may be due to reminiscent of Solomon's Temple, the elaborate decorations created by famous artists such as Michelangelo, Raphael, Bernini, and Sandro Botticelli, or due to it being the official residence of the Pope in Vatican City. The ceiling of the Sistine Chapel painted by Michelangelo and has been considered his crowning achievement. Now, if you go it along you will not have the experience and knowledge of an official guide that will ensure you enjoy your visit to the Vatican as well as evade all the tourist's trap that will only want you to purchase souvenirs while missing the experience and beauty that is just around the corner.
