While it may be exhilarating to move into a new home and live in a new city the job of moving all of your belongings and items is challenging. The first thing you want to do is to not feel intimated by the quantity of belongings that you need to pack up. One of the ways that you can decrease the amount that you own, is to purge through everything. Get rid of anything that you do not utilize or never plan to use anymore. This is your opportunity to also do away with those items that were gifts - but that you always kept hidden. The best time to purge and to begin packing everything is the moment you realize you are going to be moving and when you should be out. It might be a two or three months ahead of time - but the more time you have the easier it will be. You want to specify an area of your home where you are able to set each of these boxes. Some may think it is easier to keep them in the garage until they are ready to move. However, we think that this area has too many bugs that might sneak into them and infest your new house. When you have filled each box you need to label whether or not it is fragile and what room it belongs in. When you pack the truck you have to have everything on hand including dollies and furniture moving blankets to help to keep things safe and sound. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
