The Port of Galveston acts as a doorway into your own personal paradise when you cruise from Galveston TX into a sapphire sea, to powder white sands and coral reefs. Located on the upper Texas coast in the Galveston Bay, the Port of Galveston is home to two Carnival Cruise Line vessels, and one Royal Caribbean International vessel. Within 30 minutes of setting sail, you will be well on your way to a tropical vacation. Carnival Cruise Line offers a 4-5 day cruise from Galveston on the ship Ecstasy and a 7-day cruise on the ship Conquest, both leaving from the Port of Galveston. Ecstasy travels to locations along the Mexican Coast and Western Caribbean. Conquest travels to various ports in the Western Caribbean on alternating schedules. These destinations include Montego Bay, Jamaica; Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; and Cozumel, Mexico. Royal Caribbean International offers a 7-day cruise from the Port of Galveston on the ship Voyager of the Seas. This vessel also travels to various ports in the Western Caribbean including Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Progresso/Cozumel, Mexico. If you would like to go on an extended voyage, a 13-15 night transatlantic cruise from Galveston travels to Barcelona, Spain. Cruise Lines aren't the only main attractions at the Port of Galveston. Pier 19-22 is dedicated to the Window on the Waterfront. Window on the Waterfront features attractions such as the Ocean Star Drilling Rig Museum, Texas Seaport Museum, 1877 Iron Barque ELLISA, shops, theaters, and restaurants. Sea lovers can simply park their cars and stay at the Tremont House Hotel before their cruise from Galveston and then sail, shop and dine along the water.
