In a region full of tourist attractions you may find it difficult to find a way to decide which attractions to take in and which ones to pass on. Although there are many different things to see and do, if you are visiting this region for the first time than it is best to visit those attractions that are unique to this region, allowing you the full Australian experience while visiting the Gold Coast, after all you can ride roller coasters and go shopping any old time, but seeing the incredible creatures that are indigenous to this region is an experience you can only have while in Australia. You could go visit the Aussie Zoo. It is a nice place with many animals. But if you want to get closer to certain animals then you would want to go to some other places. One in particular is called Paradise Country. This is more geared toward the life of the animal and is more like a farm than a zoo. It means that you have the chance to get closer to these animals and it is a nice experience. When you at Paradise Country you will have the opportunity to get close to many different species of donkeys and learn all about them. These are incredible creatures with very distinct personalities. They all have names and are well cared for and loved by their keepers. Don't think though that donkeys are the only critters that you will see there. They also have sweet cows, curious kangaroos, plenty of colorful parrots, as well as goats, sheep, and emus. Many people find that the chance to snuggle up with a Koala makes a visit worth it alone. They are so adorable and very cuddly too. You have the chance to roam the farm and go from one station to the next to see what there is to find out about the different animals there. They let many of the animals roam and they seem to be very happy this way. What a way to gain an education about animals at have an exciting day on the farm!
