When planning a trip to the Tropical North Queensland region of Australia, there are plenty of incredible attractions that you will want to take advantage of. Hopefully, your stay in the TNQ will be for at least a week or more, as there are a lot of things to see and do in just this small corner of the Australian continent. Of course there are also many different festivals and events in this region throughout the year and with an average of about four a month, you will probably find that your visit coincides with at least one. Whatever the length of your trip stay in TNQ, the first place you have to visit is the fantastic rainforest, it is a area listed on the Worl Heritage list, the last standing natural rainforest left in the world. This rainforest is highly protected and preserved, there are walkways that let people come and walk around this nature and not damage it. By being able to be up close you can see the rainforest in the way that you can see the detail of the plants and creatures there and see them in their natural state. Second on your list of things to see in the Tropical North region of Australia is the Great Barrier Reef. If you spend any time in this area then the reef is not to be missed. Uniquely lined with coral this location is another World Heritage listed site and even if you are not a water lover, you really need to tour the reef in a glass bottom boat to see all the incredible creatures that lie beneath the surface. The next thing on the high priority list in this area is to see the historical aspects by a visit to the aboriginal museum along with the art they produce, and hopefully get to go to a festival also. The earths oldest culture still lives as the Aborigines still dwell and thrive in the area, this can provide insight into the oldest history of the earth, back to millions of years. With all of this to see along with fun nightlife, great restaurants, shopping and spas along with additional tourist attractions you are sure to want to return to experience some more of the Tropical North area. Both man made and natural creations are on view here, plenty of reasons to stay awhile and then plan a return trip. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
