When you look to book your holidays you run a risk with hotels as if they are in a foreign country then you can't really check them before leaving. In the past it used to be a case of putting trust in the usual five star systems and a travel agent, who for all you know may not even care about where you are staying and simply wanted to make the commission. These days with the internet being key to booking holidays there are many review websites that you can enter the hotel you want to stay at and see what other holiday makers like yourself thought of it. Even these need to be taken with a pinch of salt as some holidaymakers may be bitter about their holiday for the slightest reason and bring a hotels rating down. A recent survey of 35 million travellers though seems like a good idea of what people think. The survey aimed to find out the top 100 hotels for 2008 and the results were rather surprising for some. Turkey last year had 13 hotels in the top 100 but this year has seen their total rise to 17. Obviously this increase means that Turkey's tourism and quality of hotels has improved massively considering this is a worldwide survey. Turkey has increased in popularity with holidaymakers in the past few years as prices for holidays have dropped to the region, partially due to the influx of cheap flights to Turkey but also many people who have been on holiday there have given much praise to the all-inclusive holidays on offer. All inclusive deals can sometimes be a bit sketchy as in the past people have been dubious of the standard of food but many younger holiday makers who have taken to visiting locations such as Marmaris have said the quality of food in the hotels has been fine and the fact that this deal covers their alcoholic drinks too has obviously left a good impression on them. This recent survey will obviously be inspiring many people to venture to Turkey to take advantage of last minute deals and late-season holidays in September. If the hotels in turkey are anything like the 17 in the top 100 then they will not be disappointed Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
