We all know day to day living is becoming harder and harder as prices are constantly on the up, so it is no surprise that things are getting even worse as the value of the pound is diminishing by the day. The value of the pound against other currencies is suffering in this current economical climate, for example, the Dollar back in July was at $2 and is now suffering the year's lowest rate set at $1.62. This drop in value will mean we get less value for our money compared to July when we purchase dollars.
This will tighten anyone's budget if they are planning to visit the States this winter as we are now getting less for our money when exchanging our currency. This will hit America's tourism severely, in particular, the high streets of the big cities such as New York. People will have less money to spend on items which are usually extremely high. One bit of good news is that the price of oil is decreasing to amounts which we are used to which will result in cheaper fuel charges on flights. With America out of the picture, it may be worth planning a visit to either Australia or South Africa as the pound is running strong against their currencies. If you fancy a controversial trip to Iceland sometime soon you can expect to get nearly 40% more for your money as opposed to last month. So factor these points when deciding where to travel this year as choosing the right country may save you hundreds of pounds for spending when exchanging your currency. Look at inclusive holidays / package holidays to make the most of your budget and choose your destination wisely as cheap holidays are available. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
