Melbourne is one of the sportiest cities in the world, hosting a number of high profile annual sporting events. A few of the main events include; The Open Tennis Championships, The Australian Grand Prix, The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, The Spring Racing Carnival and its countries very own Australian Football League Grand Final. The final event for the year takes place in early December and is viewed by some Melbournians as the most important and valuable, the Australian Grand Prix which will host some of the biggest names on the planet Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa. Obviously these trips take a serious amount of planning and costs can run into the thousands with flights and hotels. To make sure you keep within budget, look for cheap flights to Melbourne and cheap hotels. This will help you to make the most of your priceless experience.
