Manhattan is the most densely populated county in the United States offering residents and tourists alike a number of things to see and do. Skyscrapers that have shaped Manhattan's skyline have been closely associated with New York City's identity since the end of the 19th century. While they may not be the tallest buildings in the world anymore, structures such as the Empire State Building and The Chrysler Building are still visually impressive landmarks.
