South Africa, on the continent's southern tip, is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the west and by the Indian Ocean on the south and east. Its neighbors are Namibia in the northwest, Zimbabwe and Botswana in the north, and Mozambique and Swaziland in the northeast. The kingdom of Lesotho forms an enclave within the southeast part of South Africa, which occupies an area nearly three times that of California. South Africa has everything Sun, sparkling warm and clear oceans and the most beautiful golden beaches you will ever see that stretch for miles. Excellent surfing, boating, river rafting, fishing Mountain climbing, biking and hiking. The Garden Route, world famous and sheer paradise. Outstanding Game Reserves with wild animals in their natural habitat and symmetric vineyards stretching to infinity Ostrich racing. A butterfly farm and the renowned Caves Sharks, whales and dolphins, and the amusing Cape Fur Seals. barbecues and beach parties, alongside art galleries and museums. But most of all, South Africans are the friendliest and most hospitable people in the world, without a doubt. If you're invited to dinner dont eat for a week beforehand because youll be overfed, especially if its a barbecue. Wine is cheap and good. The salads are to die for. Knysna, George and Plettenberg Bay are small towns lie on the world famous Garden Route which runs from Cape Town up to beyond Durban in KwaZulu Natal. Here are worthwhile conservation projects, you havent lived until youve seen dolphins jumping the waves close to the shore. Cape Town at the risk of upsetting other cities, I would say that this is the most beautiful city in the country, if not the world. It has been voted the worlds third most popular holiday destination and it is well worthy of that title. Port Elizabeth given the title of the Friendly City by locals, Port Elizabeth is a major tourist attraction. This is no surprise. Lying alongside Algoa Bay on South Africas south eastern coast, Port Elizabeth offers stunning shoreline and longer hours of sunshine than anywhere else in South Africa. KwaZulu Natal is home of some of the most stunning Game Reserves in the world. This is glorious country, theres no other word for it. Exotic, tropical, at once arid in some places and unbelievably lush in others. The Limpopo Province is a kaleidoscope of Africa, an area of exceptional natural beauty and a mosaic of fascinating cultural heritage. There is an abundance of wildlife species, keeping the dramatic backdrop alive with a hypnotic hum. This is an eco tourist destination where mountain ranges rise and fall dramatically from the plains. Indigenous forests litter the mountain sides with a scattering of gentle streams and boisterous waterfalls. The area of George and neighbouring Knysna and Plettenberg Bay is famous throughout South Africa for its beauty and is a favourite resort for holidaymakers and weekenders.
