Denmark's tourist attractions: Denmark has a number of places to visit which would make your journey enjoyable. A few are listed below:



Hans Christian Andersen Museum:

Located in Odsense city, this museum is a must see. Hans Christian Andersen was a famous Danish poet, novelist and fairy tale writer. His children's books are translated in English and are available everywhere in the world.



Copenhagen City:

Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark. It is marked by a number of church steeples. The Copenhagen Zoo is another interesting tourist place in Denmark where you will find a number of tropical birds and animals. The Copenhagen Zoo is special in its own way and will give you a memorable experience. The Little Mermaid at the entrance of the city of Copenhagen is another famous place to visit. The Little Mermaid is a statue of a mermaid and has a height of 3.3 feet only. The Botanic Garden of Copenhagen will interest not only Botany students but also family people who would like to have a walk in the park with their loved ones.



Amalienborg Palace

The architecture of this palace is worth admirable.


Viking Ship Museum of Roskilde:
Roskilde is the main city in the island of Zealand and the Viking Ship Museum tells us about the types of ship and seafaring vessels used in ancient and medieval ages.


Slotsholmen

Visit Slotsholmen where you'll find the Christiansborg Palace and museums like the Danish Jewel Museum, the Royal Danish Arsenal Museum and the Black Diamond museum.



Carlsberg Brewery
Just visit the famous Carlsberg Brewery and have a taste of their beers for free.


Bakkehus Museum

This museum gives a clear idea about the Danish culture existing ages before especially about the Danish Golden Age of Literature.



Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek

Situated in Copenhagen, this museum shows various works of art including modern art as well.



Barbie Doll Museum

This museum is a huge collection of Barbie Dolls. To visit the museum, you would require prior appointment with the owner.



Assistant Cemetery

This is the resting place of famous Danish men and women like Hans Christian Andersen, Niels Bohr, and Peter Von Scholten.
