When you have your provider and are happy with your quote, you will need to insure. Do not be pressured into buying insurance that you will not need, such as personal effects cover, which is already covered if you have a standard travel insurance policy. Only buy the insurance you will definitely need.
Make sure your insurance will cover you for what you are doing; you don't want to have your policy made void for going off road. When you arrive to pick up your vehicle you will need to make sure that the vehicle you ordered is what you get. This will normally be ok with the larger firms as they have a larger selection. Also, be sure when you book, that you need to drop off the vehicle at the same point where you picked it up. Once you have the desired vehicle you need to carry out an inspection and make sure you note down any faults you can see. You do not need to be a car mechanic; you just need to survey the vehicle recording any scratches, dents or any other faults. In particular, check the tyres for cuts or bald patches. Now check the lights work along with the brakes and window wipers. You will also need to find out how much petrol you need to leave in the vehicle. You do not want to be liable for something you did not do and the rental company will assume you have damaged the car if you did not mention it earlier. Drop the car off on time to avoid paying an additional day's rental fee. Holiday car hire is useful to everyone when done properly and you can find cheap car hire if you look around properly. Use these tip to avoid any problems when using car hire abroad. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
