Their are really only two seasons here to be aware of as a tourist, the wet season and the dry season. Doing any sort of traveling during the wet season can present a fair amount of danger so it's not a good thing to do if you are not used to driving around here.

Experiencing Cape York in Tropical North Queensland will be fun for the true adventure seeking type as there are many great things to be seen, but it's a bit of a struggle to get to them, but if you like that kind of thing then you will so enjoy it.
