From beaches to natural caves, the island is rich in lush vegetation, historical towns, and grand establishments. Having a camera handy would help a person document his vacation and at the same time keep mementos of the great experiences he has had on the island. Sunglasses, Sun Block and Moisturizer. It is always very sunny on the island. Health experts emphasize the importance of protecting the skin and the eyes from the harsh rays of the sun, especially now that global warming is getting worse and that people are prone to skin cancer more than ever. Moisturizers are important in keeping skin from drying out especially with the combined effects of the salt water and the heat. First Aid Kit. One can never assume that a small cut would not get infected, so it's always better to be safe than sorry. This is particularly important when a person gets serious injuries because a first aid kit can buy enough time until expert help arrives. Travel Wallet. These little contraptions can carry important documents for traveling such as passports and IDs. It is also a convenient place to put items such as credit cards and money. Most of the time, it is unadvisable to leave such valuables in a Barbados apartment hotel or other accommodations.
