The Kingdom of Thailand draws more visitors than any other country in southeast Asia with its irresistible combination of breathtaking natural beauty, inspiring temples, renowned hospitality, robust cuisine and ruins of fabulous ancient kingdoms. Few countries are so well endowed. This wonderful country serves as a paradise for tourists all over the world with its tropical climate, scrumptious food, mesmerizing culture and stunning beaches. The 76 provinces of this state are easily divided into five geographic and cultural regions. Besides the capital city Bangkok, there are other important and interesting cities visited by tourists in Thailand. Some such cities include Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Hat Yai, Pattaya, Ayuttaya and Sukhothai to name a few. All these cities have their own importance as a tourist destination and appeals to travelers across the world. The country receives many tourists during different time of the year and welcomes them all with warm heart. There are various hotels in Thailand that accommodates its guests with utmost hospitality and treats them friendly. Thailand also has many big and small islands and beaches that the travelers love to visit. Some of the amazing island and beaches include Ko Lanta, Ko Pha Ngan, Ko Phi Phi, Ko Samui, Ko Samet, and Phuket amongst others. Besides, the island nation is abundant in National Parks and beautiful gardens. Ang Thong National Marine Park in Surat Thani Province, Khao Yai National Park in Isaan, Tarutao National Park in Satun Province are only a few of the popular national parks here. Thailand is easily reachable by air, rail or road ways. Even for local traveling, there are different options like hiring taxis, travel in Songthaew - a truck based vehicle or to travel by Tuk-tuk another local public vehicle. Boats are also good mode of traveling in this country. For accommodation, there are various hotels, lodges and guesthouses where the guests can select their stay. All the important cities including the capital city has many good hotels to accommodate the guests in Thailand. These include luxurious five-star and four-star hotels in Thailand, boutique and business hotels as well as budget and cheap hotels. So, overall, there is accommodation available for every pocket and traveler with any budget here. Most of the reputed chain of hotels has their branches in Thailand, especially in Bangkok and few other cities that are important from the point of view of tourism.
