Kenya is a country rich in natural beauty. Covering a total of 586,600 sq km land of which 10,700 sq km are water bodies, with a varied landscape from the icy peaks of Mount Kenya, the second highest peak in Africa, to large tracts of savannah land, to the arid Chalbi desert in the north and 550 km long coastline, Kenya is a destination for your unforgettable experiences. A safari in Kenya will give you the opportunity of a lifetime to see the big five, leopards and lions, rhinos, buffaloes and elephants besides more than 1000 different species of birds and some 850 species of butterflies! Safari Kenya is all about natural beauty, exotic landscapes and teeming wildlife.

There are four principal wildlife parks in Kenya. A safari in Kenya will be to one or more of these parks. Amboseli is a reserve spread over 1260 sq miles. It has plenty of big game, the cheetah, lion, and large elephant herds and watering holes where you can spot these at leisure. Its landscape ranges from swamps and shrunk lakes to semi arid areas and vegetated land. From Amboseli you can get a fantastic view of the majestic snow clad peak of Mt Kilimanjaro.

Lake Nakuru spread over 65 sq miles is the sanctuary for the black rhino. It's also the best place for bird watchers. There are thousands of colorful flamingos, which gather around the lake along with hornbills, cormorants and pelicans. There are waterbucks, giraffes and pythons here besides the beautiful cats, the lion and the leopard. Safari Kenya has to be about the great migration and Masai Mara. It is the best park for viewing game. You can spot the big five here. During the great migration you can see one million wildebeest and 200,000 zebras and gazelles thundering past you even as the carnivores attempt to feast on them. The Samburu National Park is some 200 odd miles to the north of Kenya's capital, Nairobi. Here you can sight the rare gerenuk antelopes, Beisa oryxes, Grevy zebras, reticulated giraffes and Somali ostriches.
