Let's go on one of those Botswana Luxury Safaris. The first couple of days in the 9 day safari will fly you in from Johannesburg airport to Maun from where a light aircraft will take you to Makgadikgadi National Park where you will spend 2 nights in the lap of luxury at Leroo La Tau Camp. The camp is built on top of cliffs at 15 metres above the Boteti river bed. You will get excellent views from your camp of the desert and its denizens. The water hole located right in front of you attracts wild animals during the dry season. During the wet season the entire area gets converted into grassy islands which are the destination for wandering zebras on migration. You will go on game drives and walks in this beautiful Botswana safari. The next couple of days you will spend at Chobe National Park where you will spend your 2 nights at the Savute Safari Lodge. A light aircraft will fly you to the lodge which actually looks through old Camelthorn trees at the river bed. You can peep through the branches and look at elephant herds and prides of lions. You can see rare predators like wild dogs and the migrating zebras as you go out on guided drives. The next two days will be spent on the Okavango Delta where for 2 nights you will stay at the luxurious Xugana Island Camp where you will be flown in a light aircraft. This beautiful camp is on the edge of the picturesque Xugana Lagoon which is slap bang in the middle of the famous Kalahari Desert. The lagoon is Africa's largest and it's also very impressive. You will see the area by motorboat as well by walking around on the islands. Bird watching, fishing and the general ambience will make this a classic safari for you. You will spend the last two days in the Moremi wildlife reserve with its rich woodlands, flood plains and scenic lagoons with sightings of lions, cheetah and other predators and drink a toast to the Botswana safari as the sun sets.
