All that glisters IS gold with Costa Cruises Europe's first ever real gold facial mask is available onboard Costa Cruises' brand new ship, Costa Deliziosa.

The world's most opulent facial treatment is made from 24 Karat gold leaf and can be enjoyed in the ship's luxurious Samsara Spa, the largest health retreat afloat. Heralded as the ultimate in rejuvenation, guests indulging in the facial mask will have the gold applied and massaged into their skin until it disappears. The 24 Karat treatment is reputed to lift and firm skin, reduce wrinkles and clarify the complexion by speeding up cell renewal through powerful magnetic forces.

It is inspired by the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra, who was said to have applied a gold mask every night, and will cost €345.
