Safety tips for cricket
• Prepare well for a game. • Stretch before a day's game. A 10 minute warm up consisting of stretches and jogging is enough. • Restrict the number of overs a bowler can complete in a session. No bowler should be overused. • A helmet with a faceguard should be worn by wicket keeping, batting players. And the faceguard should be proper and not allowing the passage of ball. • All proper equipments should be worn while batting, like helmet, body padding, leg pads, forearm pads, abdominal protector, and gloves. • Good and comfortable cricket shoes should be worn. • Proper intake of fluids should be taken throughout the days. Body can loose much sweat, so supply of liquids so be adequate. • A first aid kit should be always available. • If any player gets injured, then make sure he gets right and proper treatment. • After the game is over, warm down.
