PRESS RELEASE - (Toronto, Ontario) Submit Gear is proud to announce their newest
addition to their sponsorship fight team.
Phil Gizzi, who fights out of New York
is in his second year of pro mma. The
former US Marine and former Sheriff has never had a problem keeping an active
lifestyle. When he's not training, the husband and proud father of two
runs his own construction company. When
asked what his interests were, he replied " ...I enjoy long walk on the beach,
puppies, and knee strikes to other peoples heads." The 6'2" freestyle heavyweight fighter prefers the stand-up
game, but has recently added some ground work to his training regimen -
occasionally rolling with the fighters from Tri Star Gym in Montreal. Representing "Rail City MMA" (owner and operated by UFC veteran Tom Murphy) Phil will be making his debut (at 205lbs) on September 21st in Massachusetts at the "World Championship Fighting" where he will be facing Jarod Tirel.
