Mississauga Thai boxer conquers the West, wins North American Championship |

PRESS RELEASE - (Mississauga) - Sylwester Organka came home to a hero's welcome after winning the Canadian Muay Thai Association North American Championship in British Columbia. Fighting in the 155-lb weight class, Sylwester defeated Jason St. Louis, from Vernon BC, by technical knockout at 1:33 of the first round.
"Sylwester trained really hard and it showed in
his performance," said Joey de Los Reyes, Sylwester's trainer and owner of the
mixed martial arts facility where he trains. When asked what was next for his
prized fighter, de Los Reyes responded, "More training, more fights and preparing
to defend the title next year." Sylwester trains at The Kombat Arts Training Academy, a 10, 000 sq ft mixed martial arts facility located at 1110 Komato Rd. in Mississauga.
