A big congratulations to Mark "Showtime" Wedderburn who competed in his fighting debut at the "Ultimate Cage Wars" event in Winnipeg last Saturday. Mark, who trains at the famed Kombat Arts Training Academy in Mississauga, has been training Tae Kwon Do and kickboxing for 14 years now. Recently adding jiu jitsu to his game plan, he ended the match in the third round sinking in a rear-naked choke against his much more experienced opponent who had a record of 5-0. The Fight Network will airing the event sometime in November. Kombat Arts will be representing Team Canada at the Fair Haven Hall in Mansfield, Ohio in a Canada vs USA event. The team who is sponsored by Submit Gear Inc, will consist of 6 mixed martial artists who are ready to show the rest of the world what Canada is all about. Submit Gear Inc.
