2006 NBA League- Exciting Event of the Year

Every year, National Basketball Association (NBA) organizes NBA League matches which are one of the premier sports leagues in the world.

The NBA League Matches are played based upon the NBA Rules, which stipulate different criteria for playing the matches e.g. size of the ground, height of the basket and other conditions of the games.

Like other years, 2006 NBA league matches are going to be played as per 2006 NBA Schedule and the 30 teams have been qualified from the Eastern and Western Conference to participate in the 2006 NBA League matches.

The NBA final matches, which are one of the greatest Sports events in the US and in the World, are played between the Champions of the Eastern Conference Teams and the Champion of the Western Conference Teams.

In the Eastern Conference there are three Divisions, namely, Atlantis, Central and Southeast and in the Western Conference the three Divisions are Southwest, Northwest and Pacific.

Each Division in the Conference is consisting of five Basketball teams.

Following are participating Basketball teams under the different Divisions in the Eastern Conference of NBA:

a) Atlantis Division
- Boston Celtics,
- New Jersey Nets
- New York Knicks,
- Toronto Raptors
- 76ers of Philadelphia

b) Central Division
- Chicago Bulls
- Cleveland Cavaliers
- Indiana Pacers
- Detroit Pistons
- Milwaukee Bucks.

c) Southeast Division
- Atlanta Hawks
- Charlotte Bobcats
- Miami Heat
- Orlando Magic
- Washington Wizards

Following are participating Basketball teams under the different Divisions in the Western Conference of NBA:

d) Southwest Division
- Dallas Mavericks
- Houston Rockets
- Memphis Grizzlies
- New Orleans Hornets
- San Antonio Spurs

- Denver Nuggets
- Minnesota Timber wolves
- Portland Trail Blazers
- Seattle Supersonics
- Utah Jazz

f) Pacific Division
- Golden State Warriors
- Los Angeles Clippers
- Los Angeles Lakers

- Sacramento Kings

2006 - 2007 Regular Season NBA Schedule has been released on August 1 2006.
