My Trick Of Getting A Better Job

One of the worst experiences for a guy, is to be out of a job. Men since the beginning of time has always been providers but without a job a guy can't even provide for himself. If you are out of work and are tired of searching for a job there is hope for you. Apply for a job at a messenger service---they are always hiring. The pay is not great, they usually start you off as an independent contractor. Which means that they don't have to pay you minimum wages. You get paid by the distance you travel to deliver the message. Most messages are within walking distance, they take about an hour to deliver and return to the office. That delivery pays only three bucks. Some times you have to take a train or bus and wont get back for two hours. That job pays seven bucks. It's not a lot of money for the work you do, but it is better than sitting home and brooding.

You can turn that bad job into an opportunity to find a good one. But you have to do more than just drop off the messages at the hundreds of working places that you go to. You must be friendly to the receptionist or boss that is receiving the message. They will see you quite often. Let them get to know you. Don't be surprised if they offer you a better job.

A guy out of work sends out hundreds of resumes and very few of them get answered. When they are, you will only get a quick interview, there is little time to get to know you personally. But as a person that works for a messenger service they see you many times. After awhile they might get to like you and understand that you are being underpaid. Then you will be given a full interview and get a good chance of being given a new job. If you are hired, you then can go back to the messenger service and thank the people that you formerly worked with, for giving you the opportunity to get a real job.

My information is accurate because I found a good job by starting out working for a messenger service. But I made sure that I spoke with all the people that I handed the message. Some didn't have the time for conversation but they were all polite. With time and patience somebody in there will like and help you.
