Yanik Silver: Excellent. All right let me play devil's advocate and if I'm listening to this program and I'm barely able to meet my needs, paycheck to paycheck, as you know, I'm living paycheck to paycheck and all this sounds well and good, but you know you're well-off, John, I'm well-off and we can talk about giving all we want because we have abundance. So what would you say to that person who is within paycheck to paycheck and doesn't feel like they have anything that they could possibly takeout from what they're doing?

John Harricharan: First thing I would say is that, if I'm talking to somebody they will, probably if they find me interesting listen to what I have to say. And if some people do and some don't that doesn't matter and I would say to them first thing, "Hey I know where you are. I've been there too. Actually, I was so far down at the bottom that I had to reach up to touch the bottom. I know what it feels like to be hungry, I know what it feels like not to go paycheck to paycheck. To go no paycheck to no paycheck and wondering how the kids were going to be fed.

So let me tell you few things I have learned along the way. I'll tell you about the time when I stopped that and changed it around by going back to the greatest source of information I could ever have and that's me. And having around me, not a thousand friends, because there're number of them I have, I probably could count on one hand anyway. But having one or two people, who keep saying to you, you're going to make it friend, you're going to make it John. Just keep going, I'll do all I can to help you...

In fact Yanik, on one of those times, you were one of those friends when I was ready to give up everything and say you know, to heck with this all, nobody needs to read my books or anything, look at what has happened to me, because of my illness. And you jumped in there and you didn't go away and you said I'm going to help you get this going.

I don't know if you remember a very funny little incident, when you said John, why don't send an email to your entire list telling them you'll get a discount or you're having a special sale on one of your products and I said Yanik, "I just don't have the energy to do that." I don't know if you remember this, but then you said, I'll tell you what john, " I'll write the sales letter for you and you did. Do you remember that?"

Yanik Silver: Yeah, yeah.

John Harricharan: Okay. You did and you sent it out and it really helped. Now, you're a busy guy, but you took the time to do something that most people wouldn't do. So I would say to the person who is struggling paycheck to paycheck, now I know how bad it is. It probably sucks. It stinks. But let me tell you a few secrets. Let me tell you what the trick is.

The trick is that you've got a break focus with that and for a few moments, everyday and I'll help you if you want, call me whenever you need. I will show you how to get rid of being so afraid that the next paycheck isn't going to be there, or that it won't be enough. And the minute we can pass that fear, I will show you how to expand it so there is enough and then a little bit more than enough, because it's a thing of the mind. It's not the paycheck. It's you. And I would work with them and help them through that. I will give them a few tips like we were talking about, how to get rid of the fear, how to play games with your mind, because the subconscious is what takes us there.

The subconscious doesn't take a joke. It doesn't know how to joke. It doesn't know the future. It doesn't think of the past. It only exists in the eternal present. And it hears everything we say, and it reacts to two things and the two things only. One is deep feeling, and the other is repetition. So when we're saying it's going to be hard, I can't make it, I can't make it, and that could happen when we get worried or afraid, the subconscious as well doesn't really want to make it.

So we will create situations in which he only goes paycheck to paycheck. But when you remove that, the subconscious says, "Ah, he wants to be rich. Let me find out the best way to do it. Let me have him bump into Yanik Silver or one of those guys who know how to do this." And the two of you bump into each other. Like the story, I think you told me stories of how you met people who travel to see you and that you sat with them and you talked with them.

And they come up and they make a lot of money, just from being in your energy, because our energies are all connected. We can shut them off when we want or we think we can, but the subconscious listens to everything. But the person who is struggling from day to day has just got to slow himself or herself down a little bit to listen to what he is saying to himself and then to change the internal conversation. And then they will notice that paycheck to paycheck. Here in between these two paychecks, I got a bonus.! I wonder what I did for that. And he will say, Uh, maybe it's something I did. But it's the magic that's working.

Yanik Silver: Yeah. You have talked, John, that the conversation going on in our head, the longest conversation we have with ourselves that if we're not careful I think for some reason, we tend to get negative unless we're keeping track of what we are saying to ourselves. You know, I try and catch myself doing it, and I've got to a point where you can remind someone who you love about it. Like for instance, my wife, Missy, she might do a stupid error when she is inputing something in the computer and she is like, "oh, I am so stupid. And I am like, don't say that. You know...

John Harricharan: Absolutely.

Yanik Silver: Like just what you said, your subconscious doesn't recognize a joke. And so if we are saying to ourselves, "Well, I am only within paycheck to paycheck and you are focusing only on that negative, it's a typical that you're going to get more and more of that negative."

John Harricharan: That's how it's works. That's how it continues. And the minute you make a choice, the minute you make a decision or -- I always say decisions are not to be made. They are to be discovered and then you will have the decision make you. But the minute you make a choice and say, "You know, I am just sick and tired of being sick and tried and living in poverty or existing in paycheck to paycheck. I want to go out and buy an iPod and I don't want to save for three years to do that or one of Steven Jobs' new iPhones, I want to go out now and if I see it and like it, I'd buy it. I don't want to be worrying about, oh, boy, they overcharged me 10 cents on this.

The minute you come to the point of being sick and tired of being sick and tried, you are right at the point of making major changes. But you've got to make them and they have got to be made within. And we've got to be careful what we say to ourselves. Like you mentioned, if Missy is typing and she makes a mistake and she says, oh, I am so stupid, and we do that. I knew Galen College who used to, every time she makes a mistake, "she says what an ass."

And I wrote an article about it. And I thought she -- one day she bumped into me with her tray as we were in the dinning room at the cafeteria. And then she says, "What an ass". And I thought she meant I was an ass. So I said, "What did you say?" She is just "no, no, no, I'm sorry, John. I meant I am an ass. I do all these stupid things all the time. And she bumps into everything. She did this and she did that, and she told me it was because when she was a young kid, everybody used to tell her that she was stupid. Her family would tell her she was a jerk. She was an ass and what not. She grew up thinking that she'd never really do great stuff. We are all hypnotized into these things.

I make mistakes every day. I mean I love to make them, because they are so stupid and funny. But from everyone I look at and I say, "You know, maybe next time I won't do that. I'll do something a little bit more creative." And so we've got to watch that internal talk. And I bet if the people in your seminars and the ones you deal with were to do that, there will be a lot less high blood pressure, because believe me, many of your successful friends, Yanik their blood pressures would have there.

Yanik Silver: Yes. Well, the other thing that you mentioned is from parents and family of that woman who she is hypnotize herself since believing what they've been telling her all along. And I find people they don't want to take responsibility. And that's one of the first things to being successful what I found is taking the responsibility of -- okay, or whatever has happened in the past is the past.

John Harricharan: Right.

Yanik Silver: And now it's up to me to do what I want to happen. So be proactive and not just look the situation occur?

John Harricharan: Yes. Absolutely not be a victim, don't blame it in your past. Hey, I could sit back and could have sat back and say I was born, you know, being the eldest of 12 kids that's almost hell. Until they grow up, okay. And then it becomes worse sometimes but a big -- I could have said back I said, Well you know, I grew in this family. It was so large and things were so tough and what and also that's why I couldn't achieve. But I never thought that I sat back and having read a lot and the teachings of the wise ones and thought a lot about it. I said it's not my parents....Well, it is not the universe. Well it is nobody's fault. And what you just said there is so absolutely correct. I believe it's so much. We have to take responsibility for ourselves. And we have to build ourselves. We are still a work in action and we aren't done yet. We are being completed everyday. We add a little bit more. And, yes there will be family members.

There will be friends who will tell you this or say, well, you know, you really shouldn't do that. That's not like you and then you say, "Hey, why don't know what I am like". How could any body else do? And you go ahead and just have what I call I think I invented this phrase. It's called a divine, don't give a damn feeling.

Where you really are kind at the people who tell you things. But you really don't let it stick, because if it sticks in the subconscious, you're in trouble.

Yanik Silver: Right. I mean you can -- if the people around you are if they are changing typically the people around you some are going to be okay with that. And some are not going to be comfortable because then it lets them to see how they are not changing or how they are not growing. And people like the status quo, even if the nothing ever stays the same. But they want to believe that it doesn't. And if someone's like if you have -- I am from Maryland and Maryland is know as -- Maryland is known for crabs.

John Harricharan: I love the Maryland crabs.

Yanik Silver: Yeah. So but in the analogy that we uses the crabs is that you, if you get two crabs in a bucket there're never going to get out. So you just need two...

John Harricharan: Yes. Absolutely, that's beautiful, Yanik.

Yanik Silver: One is going to pull the -- the other ones down assumes and sees to trying to get out of the bucket. And that's what a lot of times our friends and family might do in. And just like you said that the divine, which you say, divine I don't care and ...

John Harricharan: Divine don't give a damn attitude.
