Help Your Future with What You Say

Thinking negatively will bring on bad luck because it's discouraging, and thinking positively will bring you good luck because you will feel encouraged and motivated, but there is something particularly powerful about saying your expectations out loud and to others. It's like you're giving it a boost of power. If we say something out loud, we believe it enough to stand by it. When we voice something, it lends our thoughts credibility.

Saying worries out loud or sounding cynical will also turn off others and make them expect less of you. How many times are we voicing our worries? People will believe most of what you tell them and reflect that back to you. Conversely, talking positively about what you are going to do or what you expect in life may excite others and they may want to give you help.

We make so many little remarks about what our day today or our future will be like. These comments will determine the general path your life will take. Any time you predict, you are helping it to be true.

When we are speaking negatively, it works at convincing us that we should feel bad and expect no good. We might come to expect negative things to the point where we don't even believe it when something good happens, or we interpret it as something bad anyway. The person we like, for instance, if they like us too we may think something must be wrong with them. This would make us not act on our good fortune. It doesn't feel good when we're talking negatively, and we lose our energy to do the things that will bring good into our lives.

It makes sense that if we want positive things to happen and to believe we have good luck, that we need to talk that way. Dare to start saying these positive wishes out loud. Will saying that your life is good and getting better make it happen? Yes.
