Roxanne Howe-Murphy A theme I've been witnessing in my clients and students since the beginning of the year is one of particularly significant changes. On the outside, this includes leaving longtime, seemingly secure jobs to respond to a higher purpose; embarking on major creative works; stepping into expansive and critical leadership arenas, and stepping out of a long-term, acclaimed leadership role in order to discover the unfilled areas of life, as examples. On the inside, the shifts are just as extraoordinary. These inside-out changes all have one major element in common: they all have involved coming into greater real and direct contact with one's body--resulting in an inner adjustment in the mind-body-spirit experience of self. One of my clients called her coaching experience "Spiritual chiropractic," a term I use to convey the keynote of my practice. This is what I know thus far about how this process works: The body does not lie. Nor does the true heart. For too many people, they are delicious sources of intelligence that have gone untapped. (The Enneagram is a powerful body of wisdom for coming into this deeer contact with ourselves.) When room is made in life to allow a deep relationship among our inherent core intelligences, we have the experience of trusting ourselves and the Universe. We tap into our capacity to move through the membrane between this and the next phase of life in order to give birth to that which is awaiting us. The Universe meets us with perfect opportunities. Here we experience the mysteries and Grace itself. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
