It is always difficult to shop for someone else. At least it
is for me. I constantly second guess myself and then start to worry that I am
choosing completely wrong, they will hate it, and I will have wasted money. One
of these events that usually requires a great gift coupled with a lot of
thought into what exactly you are buying them is high school graduation. If you
are having trouble thinking of things to get your high school grad, take a look
at these gift ideas. Remember, this all depends on your budget. You don't have
to spend big bucks for the graduate to find it meaningful.
-
Money: This
is probably one of the most popular. It is easy and you know for a fact that
the graduate will use it. And it gives them reign to buy themselves the best
possible present—the one thing that is at the top of their wish list. And it
doesn't have to be a lot. Any free money is appreciated money, right?
- A Car:
This is also a very popular choice. And remember, it doesn't have to be a
sports car. But it usually is much appreciated—especially if it is their first
car. My dad and stepmom actually gave me a car for my high school graduation. I
was ecstatic because the whole time I had my license I had to borrow my mom's
van. And not to mention that the gift of a car was completely unexpected.
- College
Stuff: This includes anything that the grad might need for their dorm room.
For my high school graduation, my mom bought me bath towels, hand towels, and
washcloths. I got to choose the colors before hand. It was great! Maybe you can
even consider buying their first semester college textbooks as a present. We
all know how expensive those can get.
- Concert
Tickets: This is a fun one that will be a great reward for working hard and
finally graduating high school. You might have to do a little research to make
sure that you give them concert tickets that they will actually want to use.
Otherwise, where is the fun in that?
-
Trip:
If you know of a place that they've been dying to go (state-side or
international), surprise them with a little trip. This will give them a great
experience before they have to deal with the daily grind of their upcoming
life.
Whatever you decide to give your grad for their special day,
do it with love. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
