To enable most of the features on your phone you need to connect it to your computer. Most phones now come with all the necessary accessories to connect your phone and computer. Most mobile phones today have a feature called Bluetooth. This feature enables you to wirelessly connect your phone to your computer. Therefore you don't need any wires to connect. Another way to connect the phone is through a data cable which usually plugs into your phone and the computer's USB port. This cable sometimes also recharges your phone while plugged in. To properly connect the phone you also require the appropriate software. Most phone companies such as Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola and Samsung have the appropriate software on their website. You simply need to download the software and connect your phone via the data cable or the Bluetooth adaptor. The software allows you to transfer files from your mobile phone to your computer. This includes transferring ring tones, MP3s, videos and pictures. By transferring the MP3s you can listen to music and set your own ring tone to distinguish your phone from everyone else's mobile. You can set the pictures as wall papers and some of these phones allow you to even watch movies on them. You can also transfer the pictures you took with your phone onto your computer. The software also allow you to update your phone book and save it to prevent you from losing your contacts if your phone happens to delete them. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
