It's fair to say we are constantly surrounded by gadgets, whether it be, in the home, at the work place or indeed on our travels. For the majority of us, our daily lives and routine will consist of either one or all of the following activities: working, resting or playing. Gadgets have a big impact in our daily lives, whether you are consciously aware of it or not, from watching the TV to making a cup of tea. Both of these basic activities use a gadget of some sort. Gadgets make excellent gifts, as there is almost always a gadget out there to suit the person you are buying for, whether they are working, resting or playing! In this short article, I want to recommend some types of gadgets suitable for work, rest and play. Work Needless to say, one of the most obvious gadget gifts would be something to do with a PC/Laptop. There is a huge amount of gadgets that are specifically for use with a PC or laptop, and these mainly come under the umbrella of USB gadgets or Desktop gadgets). Examples of these types of gifts include: Wireless PC Security Lock, USB Mug Warmer, Retro Webcam and VoIP Street Mouse. Rest At first thought, it may not appear as easy and obvious that when one is resting, a gadget can be involved! Watching TV, reading a book, having a snooze or taking a long hot soak in the bath are all forms of resting. Some gifts I would recommend for these are: a) Book light to make reading your book in a relaxed dimmed environment easier. b) Bubble bath machine while you're having a long soak in the bath. c) iSound Pillow while you are snoozing. The iSound Pillow is a pillow with integrated earphone speakers which connects to your music player.Play When you're done with your work, and have had a bit of a rest, it's now time to play and have a bit of fun! I could give you an endless list of gadgets and gizmos that could keep you entertained for hours. However, I did say this is a short article, so I will have to keep the list short: a) Desktop Defender- an amusing gadget for office warfare! Supplied with foam darts and control, you can have hours of fun aiming and firing the darts across the room at your colleagues. b)USB Roll Up Drum Kit- a must have music gadget for the serious or novice drummer. The USB Roll-Up Drum Kit by Brand comes with six different pad areas which can be assigned different sounds by the included software. Its 3-level learning feature helps to teach you how to play and also has a play along option. It is portable and lightweight making it easy to carry everywhere! c) Boxing Grannies- with the Boxing Granny, simply press the button and watch these mean Grannies machines throw some well-aimed punches at their opponent. We're talking jabs, right hooks and uppercuts - the whole caboodle. Rocky Balboa had better watch out! The winner will be the first player to knock their Granny out for the count! So gentleman, place your bets, push the buttons and watch them go at each other like crazed pensioners. Each pack contains two boxing grannies. I hope the above has given you some ideas as to how gadgets can be part of our daily lives. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
