Credit rating 3

If you have some unused accounts open with available credit then you should look to close these unnecessary accounts as lenders often frown upon these. If they see you already have a lot of credit available to you then you may be refused as lenders may decide you should not have any more available to you.

You need to avoid requesting credit over and over again if you are being constantly refused. Every time someone views your credit report a footprint is left on your file. You need to avoid these footprints as they will arouse suspicion to lenders as to why they are there. If lenders see that you are being rejected by everyone else then they will only follow suit.

If your request has been declined then you need to review your credit rating score and get to the bottom of the problem rather than make it worse by requesting from more lenders.

Some lenders may accidentally leave two footprints on your file so you need to regularly check your file.

If you have had a financial relationship with another person previously, whether it was a mortgage or a bank account, you may be affected. If you have been associated to another person's rating which is low, then your score will be dragged down. This rule works both ways so you may want to consider associating yourself with someone with an established rating. This is normally the case for young people who live with their parents

You will need to remove associations off your file, even if it is closed or not in use any more, you still may be tagged to that persons rating. You need to be living under the same address to have an association with another person.

You can use the information provided to obtain the correct type of loan for you. You must always seek professional assistance when borrowing a large amount of money as some professionals may advise you to take out an unsecured loan as opposed to a secured loan depending on your credit history.
