Truck Driver Seeks Compensation From Employer
Written by Nick Jervis

Truck driver Brian Young is seeking compensation from his employer, TDG, one of Europe's leading supply chain management companies, after sustaining serious injuries when his truck overturned during strong winds.

Mr Young suffered from a compound fracture of the wrist, cuts to the face and a shattered ankle and shin after his lorry blew over onto a wall. Young was also trapped inside the cab of his truck for several hours before he was discovered.

Solicitors acting on behalf of Mr Young are claiming that TDG were negligent in not warning him of the potential dangers faced in driving in high winds - he was also carrying a load of empty plastic bottles and consequently faced a greater risk of the lorry overturning.
