The youth of today is experienced with too many commercial advertising
with combination of cell phones, television, and the Internet. Children
are loosing the power of their imaginations at an increasingly early
age. Remember the old days when your grand parents would sit you all
down with a nice hot cup of cocoa and marshmallows. There during those
cold nights of winter, they would tell you grand heart warming stories
of Santa Claus and elves. But, these children of the new millennium get
there stories from goggle and their imaginative creative minds and
reduced to copping things on you tube. Although responsibility of our children ultimately falls with us it can feel like fighting a loosing battle when you trying to tell a little girl she can be whatever she wants to be but, the only image Hollywood will display. The women in music videos and wearing skimpy outfits while being called rude and demeaning names that I refuse to repeat.
